Shannon Fischer

Shannon Fischer does communications and content creation for the Healthy Soil Collaborative. She is passionate about nature, forests, and the power of backyard habitats to support the wildlife around her. She joined the HSC after learning about the threat jumping worms posed to New England ecosystems, and is grateful for the opportunity to help support the critical research needed to address the problem. She has a background in science journalism, and has published in outlets including Boston magazine and New Scientist.
