Overview

Healthy soils create a healthy world from the ground up.

At the Healthy Soil Collaborative, we use a three-pronged approach to the jumping worm challenge, combining 1) laboratory and field research with 2) partnerships with affected stakeholders and regulatory agencies, and 3) public outreach and education to rapidly disseminate our findings.

This approach allows us to expand our observational manpower and conduct controlled trials in the most relevant real-world settings (e.g., garden centers, backyards), while also empowering worm-affected individuals and industries, and moving solutions rapidly through regulatory pathways. We currently conduct our efforts across the Northern Forest ecosystem, spanning the Northeast, Upper Midwest, and southern Canada.
