Our scientific strategy is supported by four research pillars: Jumping worm spread, impact, control, and restoration. In order for us to understand how to manage jumping worms and restore damaged ecosystems, we also need to fully understand how they spread and what their impacts are.

This work is highly interconnected with our partnerships program, where we invite trade associations, regulatory agencies, non-profits, individuals, and industries to join us in concerted efforts to manage the invasion. This benefits both our capacity to do science, and ensures that individuals and groups affected by jumping worms are able to voice their concerns and play an active role in finding solutions.
