Jumping Worm Research in the Huyck Preserve
Salamander specialist and HSC team member Rebecca Pinder has published a short exploration of her research journey and study of jumping worms in the New York Huyck Preserve, where she has long conducted her field research. Although her findings are distressing, she explains, the worm invasion is so far small enough it may be staved off by diligent volunteer work. You can find her story here, in the Spring 2024 issue of the Myosotis Messenger, the newsletter of the Huyck Preserve and Biological Research Station.
